No matter how long you have been held bound by cultism, there is a way out.

So, how does someone already caught up in this break free?

1. Dis-associate, then re-associate

It's not enough to walk away from the wrong crowd. You have to intentionally walk toward the right one. And the greatest association of all is reconnecting with your Creator through His Son, Jesus Christ. Do not fall for the deception that "once in, you can't get out." Jesus will set you free indeed!

2. Be open with the right people: Find people who genuinely want to help you get out, and let them in.

3. Choose rehabilitation: Freedom isn't just about leaving a group. It's about renewing your mind and rebuilding who you are, from the ground up.

Kole's story didn't have to end the way it did. Somewhere between the friend who invited him "to see something interesting" and the afternoon his blood was spilled, there was a moment he could have walked away. Many students are standing in that same moment right now, not recognizing the subtle appearance of evil that will become full blown in the future.

Cultism will never introduce itself as a killer. It will always come dressed as brotherhood, power, or protection. But the ending is always the same; a young life cut short, a family broken, a future erased.

If you are reading this and you recognize yourself in Kole's story, know that it is not too late. There is a way out, and there are people willing to walk that road with you. Choose it before a bomb goes off in someone else's afternoon. Choose life; choose Jesus Christ; choose freedom.
