If  you or someone you know has already started using drugs, it is important to know this:

You are not stuck. You can break free. That person can break free.


Here are some steps that will help:


1. Turn to God

True peace and satisfaction come from God, your Creator. True freedom can only be found through a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ.  He says, "Come to me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

So, renounce your sins and surrender to Him, because He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.





2. Speak up and get help

Talk to a trusted adult, teacher, counsellor, or mentor. Be open to them as fully as possible, once you're sure they are trustworthy. You can't walk this journey alone.





3. Be accountable

 Let there be someone(could be the person you have confided in), who checks on you and supports your growth, helping you steer clear of this harmful habit.


4. Change your circle

Surround yourself with friends who encourage good decisions, not bad ones.





5. Seek therapy and counseling

Professional help from a doctor is needed in cases of addiction. It will guide you or your loved one through recovery and healing.
