6. Using past questions poorly

Past questions should be practised to help you assess your understanding of what you are studying and, not just collected. They can help you notice patterns and understand what topics examiners often repeat. The common styles of setting questions also become familiar to you if you use past questions well.

7. Lack of consistency

Reading intensively for only a short period and thereafter stopping for long stretches makes learning unstable. Short, regular study sessions are better than irregular bursts. This is why you need a study plan.

8. Allowing distractions to dominate

This is a big problem for many students. Phones, social media, and noise reduce concentration. To gain the best of your preparations for either exam, you've got to learn how to say NO to distractions and discipline yourself when needed.

9. Neglecting your rest and health Overworking without sleep or proper rest reduces concentration and memory. Balanced study habits that include good rest, are more sustainable and more effective long term.

10. Trusting in one’s efforts, or in shortcuts

Only God crowns people’s efforts with success, nobody succeeds without God’s permission. So, commit your ways into His hands. And forget about cheating altogether. This is important!

To cap if off friends, to prepare well for exams, starting early with a simple plan is needed. You can ask teachers, seniors or mentors for help with making a good study plan. Study to understand, work on your weak subjects – seek help until you become strong.

Learn how to use past questions and self—generated questions to test your progress and prepare you for the D-day. Ultimately, rely on God for help. The Bible urges God’s children to trust Him with all their hearts – don’t trust in yourself or in cheating, but in God.

We are rooting for you in all the exams that are ahead of you; with God's help, you’ve got this!✨
