Examination malpractice is a form of academic dishonesty, it includes any action that mars the accurate assessment of a student's knowledge and skills in an examination(or test).

‎Any action against set down rules for conduct before, during and after examination. Any such action that gives a student an unfair advantage leading to an award of marks that the student does not deserve, is examination malpractice.

‎What are some of the forms of examination malpractice?

‎1. Plagiarism, that is, submitting work that is not your own as it if were yours.

‎2. Copying from others.

‎3. Teaching another person in the exam hall

‎4. Impersonation

‎5. Carrying extraneous materials

‎6. Having access to the questions before the examination

‎7. Bribing examiners to award marks unfairly.

‎Reason People Engage in Examination Malpractice

‎1.Lack of adequate preparation.

‎2.Fear of failure

‎3.Peer influence

‎4.Low self-esteem

‎5. A poor appreciation of the essence of education.

‎Reasons You Should Not Engage In Exam Malpractice

‎1. The reward of honest toil is the best. It has no substitute; it is far better than dishonest gain that comes from exam malpractice. So, students should prepare to pass and excel.

‎2. God will reward every hardworking person with success. Do not fear failure.

‎3. One with God is at majority; do not fear or join the multitude to do evil. God, our Creator, is definitely against anyone who does exam malpractice.

‎4. An antidote to low self esteem and lack of confidence : know that God has equipped you with everything you need, to succeed. He has not created you to be a failure or to rely on expo to pass.

‎5. Build your education and future on a solid foundation, not on sinking sand of malpractice.

‎Think about it, if you embrace cheating now, big or small; will you keep relying on cheating, to make your way through life?

‎There is a far more honourable part for you in life, friend.

‎So, what do you say? Will you embrace the way of honesty now and stay in that lane? From your tests, to your exams even to your class work and home assignments, will you chose to be honest?

Will you stand for God and dare to be different?
